CRSHS has many things to offer our students but most of all we offer a staff that cares about students, their education and future. Our staff continually sets high expectations for our students which allows them opportunities to excel and be successful whether in the classroom or on the playing field.
For some students extra curricular activities and sports are a very important part of their educational process. Such activities foster leadership, nurture social interactions as an individual and a team as well as provide FUN! CRSHS offers a wide variety of activities for the students to become involved.
Recently Chestnut Ridge High School has been renovated. A new Cafeteria, Science and Technology Wing, and Band Room additions as well as renovation of the existing building were completed at the end of the summer of 2007. The renovation gave the high school the much needed space to update their educational programs. Change and reform has been an ongoing theme in the process of providing a rigorous and relevant curriculum with high expectations for all students. Our major goal is to provide all students the opportunities and skills to be successful upon graduation and entry into post-secondary education and training or entry into the workforce.
