CR Stem team to places first in competition

The CR STEM team placed first in the governor's annual STEM competition on Monday, Feb 5th. The students invented a device that gauges water levels of streams and triggers signals along trails to warn hikers not to proceed using science, technology, engineering, and math. Shane Felix, Nick Evans, Alex Dunlap, Bethany Derbidge, and Ben Smith will represent IU8 at the PA Governors State STEM competition in May at Dixon University, in Harrisburg.

CR Wrestlers win the LHAC title

The CR wrestling team won their match against Westmont 44-18 by winning 10 of their 14 matches and they clinched the LHAC title. The teams record is 10-0 and will compete at the Thomas tournament this week. Congratulations!

Forensics students have a record breaker competition

The senior high Forensics team went to Bellwood Antis for their competition on Friday, 12/14/18. Nine of the 13 students placed with 5 of those being 1st place. Bethany Derbidge placed first in dramatic interpretation with a perfect score. Other winners were: Kaitlyn Gibbner and Alexa Smith- First, duo drama Fiona Knoster- Second, prose Natalie Claycomb- Fourth, prose Nadia Ickes- Third, prose Alex Rizzo- Second, informative Erin Blackburn- First, commentary Sarah Diehl- First, humorous interpretation
