About Me

I am proud to serve as Principal of Chestnut Ridge High School and to continue my career in the school district that helped shape who I am today. A 2002 graduate of Chestnut Ridge, I returned to the district in 2006 to begin my career in education.

Throughout my time at Chestnut Ridge, I have had the opportunity to serve our students in a variety of roles as a teacher, coach, and school leader. My classroom experience included technology education, STEM, and Middle School Science. Those experiences continue to influence my approach to school leadership and my belief in providing students with meaningful opportunities to learn, grow, and prepare for life beyond high school.

As principal, I am committed to maintaining high expectations while building a school culture centered on relationships, responsibility, hard work, and pride in our school and community. I believe our responsibility is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to help them develop the character, skills, and confidence necessary to become successful adults.

Chestnut Ridge has been an important part of my life as a student, educator, coach, and administrator, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve our students, staff, families, and community.

My wife, Lauren, is also an educator in the Chestnut Ridge School District, teaching fifth-grade ELA at Chestnut Ridge Middle School and directing the district musical. We live in the Chestnut Ridge community with our son, Odin.
