Forensics team places first

The Forensics team of 9 students placed first in small school division at the Regional competition at St. Francis. Also at the competition, Kaitlyn Gibbner and Alexa Smith placed 3rd in duo drama. The will compete at Nationals in Washington DC at a later date.

Rifle team member brings home a silver medal.

Chase Barefoot won a silver medal at the PA State Rifle Competition held in Dubois. Chase shot against 62 other shooters and with a score of 196, finished second in the Prone Position. This is the 5th time a shooter from our school secured a medal in the to tournament in PA. Also shooting at this tournament were Faith Keller, Alyx Yothers, and Jeremy Bittlebrun.

CR wins PIAA Class AA Southwest Regional wrestling team title

Cr won the team title by edging out St. Joseph's Catholic by a score of 106-104.5. Justin McCoy and Jared McGill placed first in the tournament. They will advance to the state tournament. Joining them will be Levi Hobson who placed fifth and Austin Crouse who placed 6th. Levi also got his 100th win at the tournament.

Students place first at STEM competition.

Hailey Oldham, Logan Hauck, Shane Felix, Logan Melius, and Jacob Stewart placed first in the governor's annual STEM competition on Tuesday, Feb 20th. The students were challenged to research, present and design a device or project to improve the lives of Pennsylvanians using science, technology, engineering, and math. They will go to the statewide competition in May.

CR Lions win another D-5 title

The Lion wrestlers won their 7th consecutive District 5 title. The Lions had 11 finalists weith 8 championships. They were Kai Burkett, Nathan Houlderbaum, Cody Brown, Justin McCoy, Jared McGill, Levi Hobson, Austin Crouse, and Dalton Seace. The Lions will take 13 wrestlers to Regional which will be held at the at the IUP Kovalchick Center this weekend. Joining the 8 first place winners at Regionals will be Gryphon Callihan, Scotty Miller, Duane Knisely, Seth Harbaugh, and Wyatt Maxwell. Good Luck boys!
